Tailgate Sign-Ups

We are so excited to plan for our upcoming 2026 Fall Women's Lacrosse season, beginning on September 12th. Please read this entire page as it contains important information. Signups are on the next page!

Grab N Go

The tailgate chair will walk you through the Google sign-up process for the team. You will be responsible for researching and selecting a Grab N Go restaurant that will provide individually wrapped meals such as salads, sandwiches, platters, etc. We are asking 1–2 families to sign up as Family Hosts for Grab N Go. To help defray the expenses we are asking parents to provide drinks and other items as indicated on the sign-up genius. The budget for this is $500.

Post Game Meals

Family Hosts for each tailgate are responsible for the planning & execution, ensuring there is enough food for the team/coaches (38 individuals) and for the families attending, as well as set up and clean up. Occasionally we may need a few extra hands to help with a tailgate or clean up — please stay flexible if you are at a game and are needed in a pinch. The budget is $700.

The tailgate committee will supply you with a monetary budget of $500 for Grab N Go and $700 for Tailgates to purchase tailgate main dishes, drinks, and complementary items.

Reimbursement up to the allotted amount will be paid by the parent fund Treasurer once receipts are provided, following each tailgate.

The tailgate committee has "bins" which are stocked with paper goods and utensils, as well as all the serving utensils and, if needed, we have sternos to set up and use. Please try to coordinate bringing the bins for your designated date.

Indoor Space and Tables

We have secured indoor space for all home games.

No Theme or Decor Necessary

Tablecloths and the gold GW letters will always be in the bins. Family Hosts can decide if they want to switch it up — all up to you!

Out-of-Town Families Can Help!

Out of town families, which is a large majority of our families, can absolutely help. Last year, out-of-town families researched, found a food vendor, placed the order, and paid ahead (for reimbursement). Other out-of-town families sent or brought little snacks/goodies for the girls in their luggage, and others who rented cars planned ahead and signed up for games they knew they'd be attending. Families local to an away tailgate typically signed up to "host" those as tailgate fam or Grab N Go fam.
