The 2027 season represents an important step forward for George Washington as head coach Colleen McCaffrey continues to build the Revolutionaries into a program capable of climbing the Atlantic 10 standings. After relying on a blend of experienced veterans and talented underclassmen in 2026, GW enters 2027 with a roster that should feature a strong sophomore and junior core that has already gained valuable Division I experience.
Replacing the leadership of the 2026 senior class won't be easy. Veterans who anchored the offense and defense leave behind significant production and experience, meaning the next generation will have to grow up quickly. Fortunately for the Revolutionaries, many of the rising seniors were starters, and the players expected to return were contributors before they became upperclassmen.
Congratulations to our nine graduating seniors, who crossed the stage this month: Kiki Rotay, Stella Ray, Caroline Tone, Emma Curry, Gracie Burke, Grace Curry, Ava Flores, Parker Cranz, and Carleigh Callahan. Thank you for your years of leadership on the field and for making this Club feel like family.
